WHITE AND BLUE T-SHIRTS
Spray painting white t-shirts has been a Cuda tradition for years. It is a piece of Cuda merch we can all have as a team, and wear with pride all weekend long at provincials. Starting Wednesday after practice and continuing through the week, we will be working on these! Hosting again this year are the Culberts, which is just a short 3-minute walk down the street from the outdoor pool. This is an “all hands-on deck” project, and all help is welcomed from our 13+ age group this year!

See you around, and please reach out if you have any questions!

Kind regards,

Lucas

Hello Cuda Families!

The 2022 Provincial swim meet is just around the corner - August 19th to the 21st. This is a time to come together, cheer on your team, and go for our 10th consecutive Provincial Championship title! Every single one of our swimmers has the opportunity to compete for points, which helps us reach this goal.

PARTICIPATION SWIMMERS
Participation swimmers are eligible to swim in THREE events at provincials. Each time the swimmers jumps in the water, they earn the team 5 points. To put this into perspective, we won by about 25 points in the last competitive year!!

Participation events are as follows:
Friday - 25 butterfly, 25 backstroke, 25 breastroke, and 25 freestyle.
Saturday - 50 free.
Sunday - 100 IM.

All participation swimmers have the opportunity to swim Friday and Saturday. Those who have achieved a time of 0:55 in their 50 free are eligible to compete in the 100 IM on Sunday. We are able to accommodate all three swims in a single-day attendance (Friday) if this works better with your schedule! Please let us know in the “special notes” section of your registration form if this would work best for you and your swimmer.

AGE GROUP SWIMMERS
Age group swimmers are eligible to swim TWO events at provincials without achieving the provincial qualifying time(s) or FIVE events with provincial qualifying time(s). We will be going through rankings and entering you in events that you are best seated in. If you have a preference for events, please come speak to a coach or add it in the "special notes" section of the registration.

We ask that all registrations be in by Tuesday night using this link: https://www.bridgewaterbarracudas.com/provincials-registration.html.

Please reach out to Lucas if you have any questions!

See you around the pool,

Lucas, Brooklyn, Sarah, and Julia.
