Who We Are
The team focus is on fun, sportsmanship, and fair play. Through training and coaching, swimmers will improve their level of skill therefore gradually working up to a competitive level while enjoying the benefits and comradery of being part of a team.
A big part of our team philosophy is mentorship, whereby the older swimmers can apply to be mentors or junior coaches. They act as helpers for the coaching staff (who are mentors to them) and as role models for the swimmers. They learn coaching techniques and gain valuable coaching experience with the team.
The club would not be able to function without a significant level of support from parents/guardians during the swim season. There are lots of possible volunteer possibilities, big and small: there is something for everyone. For a list of the volunteer opportunities and what they entail please refer to our parent handbook. Contact us, if you are interested in volunteering or have further questions.
